The myth of smart women who can't find love - author Christine Whelan chats online at 10:30 a.m.
Can smart, successful women have great careers and healthy, loving relationships? The old myths say men are intimidated by women with brains.
Christine Whelan says the old myths are nonsense and SWANS (Smart Women Achievers No Spouse) can - and do - find love and marriage. She combines research, census data and personal experience of hers (she has a PhD from Oxford, teaches at the University of Iowa and has been married since 2007) and thousands of young men and women in her new book, Marry Smart: The Intelligent Woman's Guide to True Love.
