Vick-tim of circumstance?
Do you think Atlanta Falcons QB Michael Vick -- the 27th-rated passer in the NFL -- has played well enough this season to earn a spot in the Pro Bowl?
Michael Vick is, no doubt, a very entertaining player to watch. Being voted to the Pro Bowl exposes the system to how bogus it really is. Vick's quarterback rating is worse than Culpepper(6td-12int), worse than Trent Dilfer, David Carr, Brooks Bollinger. Every year, Vick is over-hyped, over-rated. Then he has one good game and says he doesn't wanna hear anybody ever doubt him again. You're in the spotlight, get over it. Suffer through cashing those million dollar paychecks. The problem is, in the NFC, the talent pool is full of minnows. After Hasselback, it's slim pickins. With Donovan hurt, and Bulger, the rest of them are terribly inconsistant. B.Johnson reeled off 6 straight wins in Minnesota. That seems pretty siginificant to me, considering they were getting clobberred with Culpepper. Look out if Culpepper re-unites with D.Green and those awesome receivers in Arizona. It is ridiculous that Plummer's team is 11-3, soon to be 12-3, he doesn't get in, Vick's team might not even get in to the playoffs, and he gets in. The AFC is a much stronger conference over all. But Seattle can play with the best of em.
