Hot shots take aim at Pepsi Center
Some of the top scorers in NCAA women's basketball will be playing today during first-round tournament games at the Pepsi Center.
The University of Oklahoma's Courtney Paris is No. 9 in women's scoring at 21.4 points per game. Stanford's Candice Wiggins is No. 10 at 21.2 points, with Southeast Missouri's Tatiana Conceicao (19.6 points) and Brigham Young's Ambrosia Anderson (17.9) both ranked among the top 50.

› The Copa Tecate amateur soccer tournament games are scheduled for Sunday (9 a.m. to 8 p.m.) at Fairgrounds Regional Park (500 Fairgrounds Dr.) in Castle Rock. Sixty Colorado teams from the Soccer Tapatio league will compete for an opportunity to advance to the round-robin divisional finals at Sacramento in July. The event is open to the public.
