Broncos' Rey of hope?
How can anyone be against the Broncos using their first-round pick (12th overall) to select linebacker Rey Maualuga if he's still on the board?
You're looking to improve a defense that's been dog-awful sorry the past two seasons, right? Selecting Maualuga seems to be a big step toward improvement. I read where someone said the Broncos have had success choosing linebackers in the later rounds.
Any of those late-round picks going to be better than Maualuga? I don't think so.
And don't bring that John Mobley stuff in here. The Broncos picked Mobley 15th overall in 1996. He was good. Know who they passed up? Ray Lewis. Mobley's been out of the league for what, five years now. Lewis still is playing at a high level and is one of the coveted free agents on the market.
I don't have a problem saying it -- Rey Maualuga will be the next great "Rey-Rey" we talk about in the NFL. The Broncos better not waste the pick on something less.

Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I'm not sure I'd want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
