Here's a story from the Reading Evening Post in England about former Rapids goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann. Apparently Hahnemann has a sweet tooth. He has become a favorite among Reading FC's fans for giving away his jersey after games. Reading will play in the Premiership next season. Here's the link.

John Powers, of the Boston Globe, says there's no nation deeper at the keeper position than the U.S., and he credits Hahnemann with providing quality and depth to the team. Read about it here.

Paul Kuharsky, of The Tennesean, also is impressed with the depth and overseas experience of the American goalkeepers. Check it out here.

And Marcus himself writes a monthly column for USSoccerPlayers.com. His most-recent post is a recap of his and Bobby Convey's successful season at Reading. Here's the link.
