Miami FC hires Clavijo as director of soccer
Former Colorado Rapids head coach Fernando Clavijo, sporting a wicked red blazer, has taken a job with the USL's Miami FC.
Traffic Sports USA, owner of Miami FC, has hired Clavijo as its director of soccer. Clavijo will lead the company's efforts to expand its team and player divisions throughout the CONCACAF region.
Not sure quite all that that entails, but it seems like he'll be in charge of scouting and player development for Traffic, and not just Miami FC, across the Caribbean.
