Rampone talk free, open to public

Christie Pearce Rampone, captain of the U.S. national team, will be in Northern Colorado for two appearances Saturday.

In a free talk that will be open to the public, Rampone will speak about her path from playing at a small college to becoming a U.S. international. She also will make an announcement about women's professional soccer in Colorado. Rampone's free talk begins at 2:25 p.m. at The Edge in Fort Collins, at the southeast corner of I-25 and Colorado 14.

She will lead a soccer skills clinic for youth players under age 14 at noon at Arena Sports in Windsor. The cost is $20. The 40-minute clinic includes a T-shirt, photo keepsake of Rampone and autograph session.

To register for the clinic, e-mail cayla@forcesoccer.org or call 484-4653. To learn more, visit www.forcesoccer.org.
